The Mi Note 10 became the first phone to feature a 108MP camera in last November. Almost six months later, Xiaomi released the Lite version, and this version is here to check out.

Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite shares most of its components with non-Lite. The chipset is the same mid-range Snapdragon 730G, here is a 6.47 AMOLED screen, and the battery capacity is 5260 mAh. So where did Light Nice come from?
The camera system is almost exclusive. It's also a series of downturns. The Mi Note 10 Lite replaces the excellent 108MP module with a simpler 64MP module and replaces the 20MP ultra-wide angle module with an 8MP one. There is no telegraph. The stripped phone has two cameras, 2MP macro and 5MP depth sensor, but we're not fans of that.

Another camera change is expected from the front. Of course, the Note 10's 32MP selfie camera has been swapped for a 16MP one. In terms of specs, the Mi Note 10 Lite is an efficient Mi Note 10 for those not interested in photography but loves a competent mid-range package at a lower price point.
Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite also falls into this category in 2020 with the influx of mid-range smartphones. The smartphone is not bad. But is it worth thinking about better market opportunities?Let's check it out-

Design & Build Quality-
The Mi Note 10 Lite weighs 204g. For those who like thin smartphones, the 9.7mm thickness is less convenient. The device is quite large and thick, so it can stand on the surface without assistance. Of course, this means the connection is intact. On top is an infrared transmitter with an optional microphone, while on the right is an on / off button, a volume rocker and a slot for two SIM cards supporting micro SD expansion. However, I hope it will be a triple SIM slot and Micro-SD support, as I've seen on other smartphones below this price point. At the bottom is the USB Type-C port, main speaker, 3.5mm headphone jack and main microphone. The left edge of the Mi Note 10 Lite is free.

The Mi Note 10 Lite combines curves at the top and bottom and sharp edges so it fits perfectly in the hand. The back and front of the device are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.This phone is available in three Colors: Midnight Black, Glacier White, Nebula Purple and and this Purple Nebula meets all aesthetic standards without touching the camera. However, this could be due to the fact that the smartphone is slightly thicker.

Display-
On the front, there is a 6.47-inch teardrop-shaped AMOLED screen with a 2340 x 1080 resolution, and the 19.5: 9 aspect ratio makes this phone comfortable to hold. In addition, a fingerprint scanner is built into the AMOLED panel. It is difficult if your fingers get a little wet, but accurately and quickly.

There is also an issue with random printing on the Mi Note 10 Lite due to the curved control panel. This is one of the first cases I've seen on this scale. However, it allows you to create interesting multimedia.Considering the rich panel, most of the videos I watch on my smartphone seem to be good. The colors on the display are a bit inaccurate, but you can easily adjust them in the settings. With HDR10 support, blacks are also deep, but the panel's brightness is somewhat lacking, so it will be difficult to use outdoors without shadows. It's very powerful but won't feel healthy when used horizontally. It also sits in a position where you can naturally lie on your toes, making it easy to cover with your fingers. Of course, you can avoid this problem by using external wired or wireless headphones.

However, one of the drawbacks of the panel is the refresh rate.At 60Hz, performance seems a little dated. Sure, making AMOLED panels with a high refresh rate is more expensive, but Xiaomi might consider an IPS LCD option. Low refresh rates are shown in day-to-day operation, which interferes with good viewing.

Performance-
Here, the Mi Note 10 Lite delivers decent performance. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G octa-core 2.2GHz processor and an Adreno 618 GPU delivering average gaming performance. Our version has 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage and 6GB of RAM, as well as various collaboration options.Of course, using Xiaomi's MIUI 11 software can degrade your smartphone in terms of speed and performance. In today's situation, I would not call my smartphone smooth, but I hate it. This is a combination of moderate processor performance and 60Hz refresh rate.Of course, we think there is room for improvement.

I've seen a cheaper smartphone than the Mi Note 10 Lite with better performance. Of course, this could be caused by the phone software, as mentioned. MIUI 11 based on Android 10 carries a lot of unnecessary baggage. I have several apps that I haven't used, and an installation tool that checks all the apps I downloaded. In addition, the installer itself contains advertisements that should not be part of the operating system. This will help in terms of game performance. Don't expect your smartphone to have both high graphics and smooth operation. But if you are willing to sacrifice this or that, be ready. When the game gets more busy, some connections drop, but the phone recovers quickly. This is not what you expected from overheating, it is positive.

Camera Capabilities-
It wouldn't be wrong to say that the Mi Note 10 Lite is a camera smartphone. Equipped with the most important functions with smartphone quad camera setup. The base 64MP sensor provides charging with an 8MP ultra wide angle lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 5MP depth sensor.

For daytime shooting, this phone is handy because it is suitable for relatively fast shutter speeds. You can also use the macro sensor for interesting photos, but on other rival smartphones, you can't get as close to the subject as possible. Also, mobile phones cannot shoot subjects in portrait orientation. This function is for people only, and the dynamic range decreases significantly with samples. When shooting in low light, the results are not bad either. However, in night mode, the phone overdid it a bit. The photo shows artificial processing, which Xiaomi seems to be abandoning in future software updates.

The camera setup can also record videos at up to 4K 30fps, but the experience is great. The quality could definitely be better, and without optical stabilization, it will be difficult for users to create videos while walking fast. The front camera is a 16MP sensor, which is sufficient for daytime selfies and dark lighting. However, we hope that Xiaomi will add Night Mode Selfie capability.

Battery life-
Considering the inside of the Mi Note 10 Lite, the battery life is beyond expectations. It has a 5260mAh battery and can easily be used for up to 2.5 days with light to medium use. Convert that to screen time and you can easily get 10 hours. This includes playing games, watching social media, and watching intense videos. The battery itself does not support wireless charging, but does support charging with a 30W cable. During the test, 19% was charged in 15 minutes and 47% in 30 minutes. It takes 1 hour 23 minutes to fully charge your smartphone.

Advantages-
* The advantage of LITE is large internal memory and RAM. 64GB storage (6GB RAM) or 128GB (8GB RAM).
* The strong point LITE is the 5260mAh large capacity battery. This capacity is enough to last longer before charging.
* It also provides 30W fast charging with Qualcomm technology.
* Xiaomi Mi Note 10 lite is infrared, so you can use this phone as a remote control.
* Mi Note 10 Lite has a good camera set up.
* It comes with a premium design & high-end display.

Disadvantages-
* Mi note 10 lite does not have an external memory slot. External storage is essential for expanding storage space for photos and videos.
* Mi note 10 lite, One lens is used to remove the front camera from LITE and no LED flash.
* LITE has No stereo speakers. However, if you want a stereo sound system, you can plug it in via the 3.5mm headphone jack and connect your phone to another external audio source.
* Mi note 10 lite is not waterproof.
* Note 10ite Does not provide good performance overall including gaming in day-to-day usage.
* Lower refresh rate.

Conclusion-
If you are looking for a smartphone with an unrivaled battery, high-end display and premium design, the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite might be the right choice. However, in terms of day-to-day performance, this is not enough. In addition, this is because there are many competing products that offer more uniform refresh rates, which can be visually more appealing to end users. In two years, Mi Note 10 Lite will be one of the recommendations, but this year Xiaomi has left a little work. If there are already highly trained snipers out there, and if the company can move on to future iterations for faster displays, a high-end phone like the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite could really be unmatched.
