RAM (Random-Access Memory) is a type of Volatile memory (all memory erases when electric power cut off) is the residing place of running applications, software or programs and commands. This type of storage is very fast accessible, read & writable. This storage is mainly operated by OS (Operating System). A user can not store here whatever he likes. Devices with higher RAM can run faster, do better Multitasking or, run different apps simultaneously and run heavy weight software.
